On the way up we ran into a couple who, upon looking up to a sheer slant of a #mountain covered in #ice, decided it was way too risky to get to the top and were turning back. As they started warning that it was impossible, I started #climbing in my #snowshoes, reassuring that it was perfectly fine. I didn't stop until I couldn't hear the couple anymore. We got to the top and got this epic shot. The next day, I commented how proud I was that we took such a crazy, almost suicidal risk and made it to the top (one wrong step on that slick ice and we would have slid right off and all the way down to our deaths), to which she said, WHAT!? It was that dangerous?!? But I thought you said it was fine?!? And I said, If I'd told you it was impossible, you would have thought it was impossible. But since I told you it was easy, we did it.
