#beachlife #notreally This part of #India is so conservative, dudes wore jeans on the beach and then they went into the water with them on. Think about that for a minute. Anyway, 4 weeks ago, I interviewed at a company. 3 weeks ago, they hired me. 2 weeks ago, I got my visa. And there I was last week, making moves in India. It all happened so fast, I haven't even told my mama yet. (Entendite, ma?) You just never know where your journey takes you. "When our car arrives at the JWM, we got security checked like we were visiting the White House. Should I be worried? The car pulls up the hill and we are greeted by exceptionally polite and well-groomed front-area staff. We brisk through another layer of security with metal detectors - OK, now I'm worried - and into a grand lobby overlooking a garden, pool, and beyond that, Juhu Beach. Ahhhh! Cool air. What's this? Watermelon juice?! Whoa. We checked-in and were in our rooms within minutes. The room was perfect. Wait, what was I worried about? Who cares, look at this shower!!"

"Hotel Cosmopolitan had poor internet, sketchy electrical outlets (seriously, my tablet charger literally started smoking as it was charging. The only reason the entire hotel didn't burn down was because I was working on the tablet and noticed and immediately unplugged it. Emergency averted), and I got dirty pillows."
