Labor Day Easy Car Camping at Buchanan Mtn in Sterling Forest.

Who said camping had to be multi-day? If you just want to get out of the city for a night, unplug and disconnect from your devices, and drink with an open container without getting arrested, this is your trip. I'll be camping and doing some easy hiking in Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park and would love it if you came with me! You haven't laughed until you've heard me after a few shots of whiskey. This is a perfect hike for anyone who's never camped before and is looking for an easy way to try it. Leaving Sunday morning at 9a from Herald Square (I'll be parked on 31st street, right off of 6th ave, next to the Starbucks). Returning Monday evening around 7p. We're going rain or shine. And remember, Monday is Labor Day. Suggested "donation" of $99 to help pay for transportation, gas, tolls, park permit, ingredients for the 2 days worth of healthy food I'd prepare for you, and use of gear.
