Would you go in here by yourself?
Graffiti warning hikers against going down certain areas.
Unidentified carcassas molding in the sand.
Evidence of BBQs and campers, but no footprints in those areas.
Deep, deep lake-sized pools with contaminated green mine water.
Sounds like a scene from some scary movie, right?
But it was just an epic exploration of a gigantic abandoned mine in upstate NY, with hidden entrances, confusing design and relics from generations of others who’d been going inside since the 60s.
Shout out to our intrepid explorers for joining us on this special hike.
