...so I decided to #run (no walking) a 5k last night over a technical, woodsy trail, my first one, without any #training because I #hike a lot and hey, I thought it'd be a piece of cake. A mile and a half in, 4 cramps, back hurt, gasping for air like I'm drowning... #sumbullsh_t #ItSeemedLikeAGoodIdeaAtTheTime #ItWasnt #AintSoldOnRunnersHigh Anyway, I didn't finish this time but got a bunch of great footage to make you feel bad for having missed #outdoorfest2017 so mission accomplished #whatyoumissed #outerthere #RespectRunners #ImDoingItAgainAndFinishing Big thanks to @srhknpp for being the brains behind the 5k and @outdoorfest and #outertherefam @_anna_supernova_ and Charlie for coming with me. PS I also decided to run with Physiclo compression tights with resistance bands built in because I have #nocommonsense and can say that by the 3rd ascent up a hill, my hams, quads, and calves were on fire.
